Successful Inception Workshop from WWF-VN and VinaTuna on piloting of the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST) standard in Vietnam yellowfin tuna FIP. Positive participation from GoV (DFISH), provincial managers, tuna processing companies and International seafood partners.

With the piloting of e-logbook concurrently underway, and with several domestic processors signing up to participate in GDST, it is an opportune moment for integrating the e-logbooks and current FIP code system into a GDST "language" that allows businesses to meet international traceability requirements, including those of the EU-IUU regulations and of SIMP (USA).

After workshop, GDST project in Vietnam was got 5 joinning commitments from the Hai Vuong, Hai Son, Thinh Hung, Hong Ngoc and Evertrust.
