National Workshop on Data Review and Annual Catch Estimation for Tuna Fisheries From April 7–9, 2026, in Quy Nhon City (formerly Binh Dinh Province, now part of Gia Lai Province), the Directorate of Fisheries and Fisheries Surveillance under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment convened a National Workshop on Data Review and Annual Catch Estimation for Tuna Fisheries. -
Training on good social responsibility practices – Safety at sea in the tuna fishing industry In the framework of Vietnam Yellowfin tuna fishery improvement project, on the morning of April 24, 2024, in Nha Trang city, Vietnam Tuna Association coordinated with the Region IV Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center organized a training workshop on Good Practices for Social Responsibility - Safety at sea in tuna fishing sector. There were 45 tuna fishermen in Nha Trang City attended this workshop.
