The Vietnam Tuna Association (VinaTuna) would like to announce that the “Kickoff Meeting of the Vietnam Skipjack Tuna Purse Seine Improvement Programme under MSC Standards”, originally scheduled for 08:00 AM on November 7, 2025 (Friday) at DAPHOVINA Hotel, 32 Bac Son Street, Bac Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, will be postponed until further notice.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, Typhoon No. 13 (Kalmaegi) is forecasted to be a strong storm moving into the East Sea and is likely to directly affect the Central and South Central Coast of Vietnam in the coming days.
To ensure the absolute safety of delegates, guests, and the organizing team, the Association has decided to postpone the meeting. The new date will be announced once weather conditions become stable and favorable.
