Technical Workshop on Developing Procedures for Controlling Foreign Fishing Vessels Engaged in Fishing, Transporting, and Transshipping Fishery Products of Wild-Caught Origin at Vietnamese Ports

Seafood processors could lock in better returns by implementing GDST standards The latest report from the financial think tank Planet Tracker has found that an investment in traceability could be a profitable move for seafood processors, with a better return than the industry’s traditional method of creating value through mergers and acquisitions. -
TUNA EXPORT IN AUGUST 2020 As of August 31st, 2020, the total tuna export turnover reached 417,508,305 USD. Particularly in August, exports of canned tuna under code HS16 reached 22,385,245 USD, with 3 main markets: US (50%), EU (17%) and Korea (14%). However, the proportion of exports has decreased by 7% compared to July 2020. The main reason is that ASEAN did not import tuna from Vietnam, and exports to the Middle East, the US have decreased slightly. -
TUNA EXPORT SITUATION IN JULY 2020 According to the statistics data of the VINATUNA, after a long decline in exports continuously, Vietnam's tuna exports to the EU in July showed a postitive sign, up nearly 65% compared to June. Tuna export turnover in July reached 63,833,660 USD.
